On 04/03/2024, in London by Westminster, I participated in the NoFarmersNoFood protest along with over 150 tractors and various farming vehicles that came together to voice their concerns. The demonstration was in response to the UK government's mandate requiring farmers to set aside 10% of their land for trees, with an additional 10% designated as untouchable. This directive means that 20% of farmers' land is effectively unusable. From 5:30 to around 8:30, the streets were filled with a sea of tractors, symbolizing the unity and strength of the agricultural community in defense of their livelihoods. The collective display of solidarity was both striking and powerful as farmers made their voices heard, advocating for fair treatment and more sustainable solutions.
