Travelling to London to Document the Free Palestine Protest
As a second-year university student with a passion for social justice and activism, I seized the opportunity to travel to London and document the Free Palestine protest which was scheduled for the 12th of January 2024. This trip was not just another event to cover; it was a chance to immerse myself in a cause that holds immense importance in the global discourse.
My commitment to traveling across the country to document various protests stems from a genuine desire to amplify the voices of activists and contribute to the documentation of pivotal moments in society. Whether it's advocating against oil drilling, the illegal hunting of foxes, or supporting the Free Palestine movement, I feel compelled to bear witness and share the narratives of those who are striving for a more equitable world.
The Free Palestine protest, in particular, carries significant weight due to the enduring and complex nature of the Palestine-Israel conflict. It represents a gathering of individuals advocating for justice, human rights, and an end to the occupation.
